Barnbougle Lost Farm

18 Hole, Top 100 golf course located in the region

With a reputation for minimalist course design and a philosophy that traditional, strategic golf is the most rewarding, head architect Bill Coore created the Lost Farm with the intention to complement the canvas provided by Mother Nature. Located on the north east coast of Tasmanian, Barnbougle Lost Farm is situated adjacent to the Barnbougle Dunes Course on the wild and dramatic coastline of Anderson Bay. Unlike a standard course, Lost Farm features a quirky 20 holes - all of which are playable to golfers during a round. The greens are dispersed amongst the dunes and along the coastline. The routing of the course is diverse and offers an exciting challenge for golfers of all abilities. Barnbougle Lost Farm is a course dramatically different from the standard Links Golf Course. The 20 holes of sweeping fairways complement both the surrounding landscape and the iconic game itself. Barnbougle Lost Farm has been named the number 2 public golf course in Australia for 2012.

Wow! Barnbougle blew me away the first time I played there 4 years ago and I have been going back ever since then. The golf course is amazing. Have played there with the wind blowing the rain in sideways and still loved it. Can’t recommend Barnbougle highly enough!
