Bowral Golf Club
Fairway watering, manicured greens and uncrowded playing conditions all contribute to playing at Bowral. The course is 18 holes, 5406 metres, par 69, easy walking. A testing layout with small greens and only a few bunkers to catch the wayward shot. One of the challenges on our course is the relatively small greens which are elevated. A low handicapper going for the green from a good distance out is rewarded with a birdie opportunity or penalised if he misses it by the ball deflecting off the green's bank. Players not wanting that risk can approach more directly with their third shots running on to the green. Playing through the greens is penalised.
