Kooindah Waters Golf Club

18 Hole, Resort, Top 100 golf course located in the region

The abundance of natural wetlands provides a stern test and fair challenge for competent beginners through to professional players, according to designer Ross Watson. Long hitters are rewarded on several holes but accuracy, ball placement and imagination are the keys to scoring well. DESIGN FEATURES The course begins in picturesque and natural wetlands on holes 1 and 2 before entering into the parkland stretch from holes 3 through to 8. The finishing hole on the front nine rejoins the open wetland flavour of the site back to the clubhouse. The back nine has a mix of residential holes with accompanying wetlands from 10 through to 15 before entering the more open holes 16, 17 and 18. The short Par 3 17th is one of the most memorable on the card with a shortish iron required to find an island green set amongst the natural water features.
