Margaret River Golf Club
18 Hole golf course located in the South West region
The course was created by a group of golfing enthusiasts in the early 1950s in a bushland cleared setting midway between the town of Margaret River and the coast. Golfers, and those just out for a walk, enjoy the abundant flora and fauna, including kangaroos, geese, rabbits and many varieties of birds. Apart from planted species there are also magnificent examples of local trees including karri, jarrah, marri and peppermints. The course winds it way up the slopes of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste ridge with the last five holes in particular affording spectacular views of the rolling countryside and vineyards.
