Tallwoods Golf and Country Club
Tallwoods Championship Golf Course is a par 71 for men and a par 72 for women. Each hole has six tees designed to suit individual players allowing novices the opportunity to enjoy their game and challenging the skills of low handicap players. Measured from the black tees, the course is 6,100 metres in length and, for men, consists of 5 par threes, 9 par fours and 4 par fives. This spectacular course was designed by Dr Michael Hurdzan, winner of the 2002 Donald A Rossi award by the Golf Course Builders Association of America and Golf World Magazine's 'Architect of the year' in 1997. Dr Hurdzan's design vision was delicately shaped into the beautiful course seen today by famed course sculptor Guy Quattrocchi. The involvement of Hurdzan, one of the world's leading environmental golf course designers, is ever-present in the majestic eucalypts, prolific native vegetation and extensive water features evident throughout the course.
